We are a boutique gym opposite Raynes Park station with a specialised class model based on strength and boxing. Our classes are designed to maximise your results and build new skills, working hard within a supportive and friendly environment.

What we can offer you…

A FREE onboarding consultation with one of our experienced trainers. This includes a 30 minute chat to discuss your targets. If you have set yourself a goal or are struggling to put some in place we can guide you and set you on your way!

A one off PT session with the trainer of your choice for just £65. This includes one hour with one of our coaches whether it is boxing or strength and conditioning. If you have previous experience or none at all we can show you the Alborz way and get you comfortable with our equipment and learn good form before you attend one of our many classes on offer.

We also offer the first of our PT packages where you can buy a block of 10 sessions with the PT of your choice for a discounted rate of £550. This gives you the opportunity to work closely with a trainer that can help you set and reach your targets wether that’s weight loss or to build muscle or to simply learn to box or improve the existing skills that you may already possess.

Finally our NEW and improved PT package currently on special offer for first time members and existing Alborz members for just £140! This includes 3 x 60minute sessions (to be used within a 2 month period) again with the trainer of your choice. Alongside this you get 3 inbody tests, prior to each session, on our in house machine that provides a full break down of your body composition. This will enable us to keep track of your progress from start to finish and keep you accountable throughout. This is an extremely high level piece of equipment that gives us a greater understanding of your current composition allowing us to determine and reach your targets and goals.

Our Classes

Boxfit Class - This class combines a mix of bag work and full body lifting exercises. This is a popular class that will challenge you and improve your overall cardio and strength. If you want to train like a true champion without having to do the endless rounds of sparring this class will take your training to the next level. You will be conditioned to reach your absolute peak!

Lifting Class -These are split across the week into Lower Body, Full Body and Upper Body classes. Based around a circuit style format our coaches will make sure you maintain safe and good form while also challenging you with an array of different exercises to improve your strength, conditioning and overall physique and work towards your fitness goals.

Teens Boxing Class -A great opportunity to get your child into something that gives them focus, dedication and confidence. Throughout these sessions they will learn the fundamentals of boxing while incorporating some fitness work all in a safe environment under the guidance of our coaches. We also offer them an opportunity to get graded in a karate belt style grading system where upon completion they receive an Alborz t-shirt, certificate and medal recognising their accomplishments. As the grading advances their skills are put to the test where they will have to learn and perform complex combinations, showing good technique and form, while also performing certain exercises for a set duration. Many of our teens are continuing to advance through our gradings and working their way up to our most recognised and prestigious Black grading.

Kids and Parents Boxing -These classes give you and your child the chance to learn a new skill while incorporating some fun and games to keep you entertained and active.

All Level Boxing -This class is available to those that really want to learn the art of boxing. A real mixture of bag work, pad work with our coaches and partner drills. Mastering the fundamentals and upgrading your skill set to more advanced techniques. Sparring is also available on Friday evenings for those that want to challenge themselves in a safe way under the watchful eye of our coaches but it is NOT mandatory.

Cancellation

If you have booked onto a class and are unable to attend, but fail to cancel your booking within the allotted cancellation period you will be permitted to pay a £10 cancellation fee. Full terms and conditions for this policy can be found on our website.

I am a fully certified personal trainer with 5 years experience. I have always been fit and kept active up until I became mum of two children. My first experience of my body since giving birth was the weight I gained and mentally being under a lot of pressure, I developed postnatal depression. To battle this I started my workout and this interest quickly developed into a passion and ever since then I have been dedicated to understanding the most effective way to aid mothers’ mental and physical well-being and find encouraging ways to help them navigate their postnatal depression. I have found training and nutrition to be the most effective thus far. This journey started when I initially coached some of my clients/mums as a fun past time but soon developed into a career path. During lockdown I commenced my online gym and aimed to motivate people from home to move and exercise. I always take into account my clients needs and their limitations both physically and financially and manage their needs accordingly.

I trained in boxing and martial arts, competing and winning a number of title fights. This taught me discipline, how to develop a strong mindset, and the important ways in which a healthy lifestyle can improve your quality of life. My own training includes a mixture of strength, cardio, and technique development. I specialise in boxing-style workouts (padwork, circuit / crossfit-style training to target the whole body). My own experience in cutting weight for fights has taught me how to reduce body fat and tone up in the healthiest way, and how to maintain this in the long run. I am constantly trying to learn new things and have a long list of qualifications, including GP referral and a Level 4 Lower Back Pain specialisation. I am also an ABA certified boxing coach.

I base my sessions around boxing style workouts including pad work and circuits with a mixture of strength training and conditioning.
