Meet Our Trainers
I am a fully certified personal trainer with 5 years experience. I have always been fit and kept active up until I became mum of two children. My first experience of my body since giving birth was the weight I gained and mentally being under a lot of pressure, I developed postnatal depression. To battle this I started my workout and this interest quickly developed into a passion and ever since then I have been dedicated to understanding the most effective way to aid mothers’ mental and physical well-being and find encouraging ways to help them navigate their postnatal depression. I have found training and nutrition to be the most effective thus far. This journey started when I initially coached some of my clients/mums as a fun past time but soon developed into a career path. During lockdown I commenced my online gym and aimed to motivate people from home to move and exercise. I always take into account my clients needs and their limitations both physically and financially and manage their needs accordingly.
I trained in boxing and martial arts, competing and winning a number of title fights. This taught me discipline, how to develop a strong mindset, and the important ways in which a healthy lifestyle can improve your quality of life. My own training includes a mixture of strength, cardio, and technique development. I specialise in boxing-style workouts (padwork, circuit / crossfit-style training to target the whole body). My own experience in cutting weight for fights has taught me how to reduce body fat and tone up in the healthiest way, and how to maintain this in the long run. I am constantly trying to learn new things and have a long list of qualifications, including GP referral and a Level 4 Lower Back Pain specialisation. I am also an ABA certified boxing coach.
As a coach I train the basics and fundamentals of boxing while incorporating the all important aspect of fitness. I base my sessions around boxing style workouts including pad work and circuits with a mixture of strength training and conditioning. This will enable you to get stronger and fitter in all areas of your body.A strong body partnered with a strong mindset and a healthy lifestyle can help you achieve any targets that you set in life!
